CBS Sunday Morning was doing a piece on kitchens and their impact on being social. They discussed how kitchen islands have become popular because people hang out in the kitchen so much more. Interestingly they showed a happiness chart saying that people are most happy between 7-10 pm and the kitchen is where they are hanging out…hence the popularity of islands with seating. Good place to hang out with family and friends! This show has great info on all aspects of life. Check out lots of great shows here
